Director of Healthcare Services

The Director of Healthcare Services serves as a vital member of the community leadership team by supporting the community’s person-centered mission through clinical and administrative practices and by balancing individual choice with residents’ medical needs in clinical decision-making. The Director of Healthcare Services partners with all relevant personnel in the care community to inspire a sense of personal pride, professionalism, and enthusiasm for person-centered care, which directly influences the quality of care and services provided to the individuals living in the community and their families. The primary purpose of your job position is planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Healthcare Department following current federal, state, and local regulations that govern the care community and to ensure that the highest degree of person-centered care is maintained at all times. Your primary objective is to provide person-centered care to, and advocate for, individuals living in the care community to the full extent of your training. The Director of Healthcare Services coordinates all of the healthcare department’s activities to meet the daily needs of individuals and enable them to attain their highest possible level of wellbeing-physically, psychologically and socially. Services are provided following the individual’s assessment, personal preferences, and care plan goals. The Director of Healthcare Services works with the physicians and interdisciplinary team members; direct and develops staff; creates and updates policies and procedures; provides physical and psychological support for residents and families; and fosters an atmosphere of continuous quality improvement.

Full Time / Starting Salary: $78,000 annual + Benefits (Medical/ 401K)
